Thor Official Synopsis

This may be old but I just saw it for the first time on IGN.com:

This epic adventure spans the Marvel Universe; from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

I like it so far...

Ashley Miller on writing Thor

Ashley seems to be a good pick for the Thor writing team. She's got related genre experience, she's a fan of the comic, and if this interview on Cinefools is any indication, she is treating the subject matter thoughtfully and seriously. Below are a couple of choice quotes - check out the entire article here.

...Would you like me to pull my Simonson run out of its bags and boards? Zack [her writing partner] had to take me down with an elephant tranq to stop me from throwing in a scene between Thor and a frog.

...You want to see the dirt, and grime and blood. You want to feel every bone crunching moment of every fight. And when he unleashes the storm, you want to feel like you're seeing the power of a GOD at work. ... The best example I can give you is the end of Ultimates 2. When Thor shows up and kicks ass, he shows up and kicks ass.

Katee Sackhoff reportedly researching role...for Daredevil reboot?

Supposedly Katee Sackhoff was in the Los Angeles Golden Apple comic book store buying Marvel titles in order to research the role of Daredevil reoccurring/supporting character Typhoid Mary. No official confirmation of anything at this point, only rumors. /Film theorizes that the potential role may actually be part of the planned Deadpool film, not the rumored Daredevil reboot.

Tracking Rasputin

Secrecy may be a thing of the past thanks to this newfangled internet contraption. Word on the web is that Iron Man 2's 'secret' shooting name is Rasputin, and it seems that sightings of Rasputin production are starting to pop up all over - Sepulveda Dam being the latest spot.

Drama on the Iron Man 2 set?

According to an article (it contains minor spoilers so beware) on Hollyscoop, there is some friction between Iron Man 2 stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlett Johansson. There is so much gossip out there you never know what to believe. But if Pepper and the Widow have an antagonistic relationship on-screen, maybe the actresses not getting along off-screen will actually help with their performances. But again, who knows.
