Edgar Wright interview; discusses Ant-Man

ComingSoon.net has posted an interview with Edgar Wright wherein he discusses the future Marvel Movie Ant-Man. The bulk of the questions concerning Ant-Man start about two-thirds of the way down the page.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine poster

Take a look at a photo of this teaser poster for the upcoming Marvel Movie at the San Diego Comic Con on Cinematical.com. A similar shot over at ComingSoon.net. Note the poster lists an "in stores" date as well as an "in theaters" date, so it may serve a dual purpose.

Avengers rumors

A recent Den of Geek posting states that Louis Leterrier is writing Iron Man 2 with Robert Downey Jr. as we speak, that a new Avenger will appear in said sequel, and that Jackson, Downey Jr., and Ed Norton will all be back for the ensemble movie. The source they cite is referred to as "Mr Miyagi", so I'm taking this one with a spoonful of skepticism.

Hollywood heavyweights discuss production issues

Some behind-the-scenes politicking involving Jon Favreau, Arnold Schwarzenegger and a certain House of Ideas (or should I say Studio of Ideas?) as described by Nikki Finke. Hopefully Marvel doesn't end up getting a raw deal.

Iron Man DVD release date

According to Video Business we might all be able to enjoy Iron Man at home as early as September 30th. You can even pre-order the DVD or Blu-ray disks on Amazon.

Punisher: WZ movie panel at SD Comic-Con

IGN has posted a very brief article on their site about the Marvel/Lionsgate "Punisher: War Zone" panel at this week's San Diego Comic-Con. The article reports that the panel is scheduled to include producers and stars from the film (including the Punisher himself Ray Stevenson), as well as some advanced footage for the fans.
